Original Spanish passage captioned to Instagram by Gloria Cárdenas on June 16, 2020:

Well, since they didn't invite me, I invited myself. HAHAHA
At the beginning of the quarantine, I learned about the global exposure of Félix González Torres. With the intention of finding new readings for his piece “Untitled” (Fortune Cookie Corner) ”, the Felix Gonzalez Torres Foundation called 1,000 people around the world to re-create this piece
. . .
I was fascinated by the idea of a collective and simultaneous exhibition worldwide. I contacted different people to find out if anyone in Mexico would participate and I was frustrated that I couldn't find anyone
. . .
I followed the exhibition and met Michel Otayek who participates from his home in Berlin. I heard an IG Live that he did to start the project and so I found out about the programming that he would do around the piece to give it more diffusion and bring more people to the installation
. . .
This is how we did this collaboration remotely, where with the simplicity of a sticker Berlin and Monterrey are connected around a piece by Felix Gonzalez Torres
. . .
I don't know how many people from Monterrey will access Michel's page. I do not know who who access will understand what it is or will really get hooked. Nor do I know if the person who enters will enter in time before the exhibition ends
. . .
None of this really interests me. I am left with the satisfaction of having created a link and having participated in some way in this exhibition
. . .
